Influence of Uneven Thickness of Horizontal Band Saw Blade

Especially in high-speed mechanical saws, due to the influence of centrifugal force, unbalanced dangerous results will also be caused. Therefore, there should be strict standard requirements for thickness uniformity in mechanical saws. The band saw blade has a thickness of 0.9-1.25mm and a width of less than 150mm, and the allowable thickness deviation is+/-0.04-0.06mm .. Due to the limited conditions of steel strip forming technology, the middle part is usually thicker than both sides, so the medium thickness of band saw blade is also difficult to avoid. General saw blade is 0.9-1.25mm behind, so the allowable thickness range is 0.025-0.030 mm.

The band saw machine has been used for a long time, the saw blade will be worn out, and a new saw blade needs to be replaced, and the old saw blade needs to be ground to achieve the purpose of improving the production efficiency. To replace the saw blade, first open the guard door at the upper and lower positions, loosen the fixing screw of the sliding plate, turn the lifting hand wheel, and lower the upper saw wheel. At this moment, the saw blade is loose. Take down the old saw blade and put on the new saw blade to the upper and lower saw wheels. It is important to note here that the direction of the saw teeth is not reversed. After the saw blade is sleeved, turn the lifting hand wheel to tension the saw blade. Turn the upper saw wheel to check whether all the saw teeth are exposed outside the saw wheel. If the position is not suitable, adjust it properly until the saw teeth are exposed out of the wheel rim, so that the saw blade can be replaced. The installation method is similar. Pay attention not to be hurt by the saw teeth during installation.
